Devery Raasok

Hi! I am Devery Raasok. I am one of the Grade 6 teachers this year. I am excited to grow and learn alongside the students of WES. My two greatest passions in life are teaching and agriculture. I pursued both of those passions in my post secondary schooling. I have an Agribusiness Diploma with a major in marketing and communications as well as a degree in education. I moved from my family farm in Yorkton, Saskatchewan to Irma, Alberta six years ago. My husband, Garrett and I have a mixed farming operation that we run together south of Irma. When I am not in the classroom, I can be found operating the farm equipment, riding my horses, weeding my garden, tending my sheep flock, overseeing the cow herd, volunteering in my community, curling at the rink, or drinking tea on my deck. I am happy to be part of the Wainwright Elementary School team!
