Mackenzie Goodwin
Kindergarten
Hi! My name is Mackenzie Goodwin, and I will be teaching Kindergarten Tuesday/Thursday this year! I have been teaching for ten years, and I'm very excited to be a part of the fantastic staff and students at WES! I grew up on a farm outside of Wainwright, and attended WES from Kindergarten to Grade 6.
I live on an acreage outside of Wainwright with my husband, Nolan, and our two daughters, Remi and Levi. In my free time I love to be outside in my yard, or with my horses! Camping, snowmobiling, reading and spending time with family are my favourite hobbies. Aside from teaching, tap dance is my passion; I have been a tap instructor for Wainwright Dance Academy for 16 years! I love to be active, and move my feet.
I am looking forward to learning and growing with my students this year, and making WES's youngest members feel at home!
