February 14th, 2023 will mark WES's 34th year of participating in the JUMP ROPE FOR HEART fundraising event. Today WES gathered for a kick-off rally to help cheer our Gr 4-6 students on to even higher fundraising goals. We talked about the importance of raising money in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, we learned about the signs of a stroke (FAST - F- face - A-arms - S- speech - T- time) and how a healthy diet and lifestyle helps our heart health. There was also lots of draws for some cool prizes.
