About the Program:Each school with an active Co-op Number receives a donation towards their school's nutrition program. The distribution of the donation dollars is made possible by community support of Cornerstone Co-op. We have developed a formula to allocate donations, which balances the number of students and purchase support from each school. This formula ensures that the donations are equitable and reflective of the school's commitment to the program.
Here's a breakdown for Wainwright Elementary School based on our formula:

Number of Students: 371
Average Spend Per Student: $4.39
Bags for Breakfast Rebate (per student): $2
Total Cheque Amount: $742
Exciting News - A New Program Name Coming Soon!
In 2024, we will be revising our program and introducing a new program name. We are excited to introduce three innovative avenues that will help us continue our mission and fuel the future of our local breakfast programs. These avenues include Fuel Good Day, our new apparel line, and profits from reusable bags. We encourage schools in our communities to promote this program whenever possible through your Parent Councils, newsletters, and your social media channels and website to increase awareness and, therefore, donation dollars.
Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our 'Name Our Program' contest on our social media platforms in mid-October (image attached above), where teachers and parents can suggest a new name for our program. We invite you to share your feedback, and the enclosed information, survey link with your school community. Together, we can make our program even better and continue our mission of Making Life Better in our Communities.
