Orange Shirt Day at WES 2024
September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a time to remember, reflect, and renew our commitment to the path of truth, healing, and reconciliation.
On Friday, September 27, staff and students took part in learning activities and wore orange to honour this important day.
As part of our honouring the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation , special guest Patricia Portas brought in a beautiful display of Indigenous artifacts to help our students learn more about Indigenous culture. Thank you Patricia!
