DARE TO CARE 2022

Kim Edwards from Dare to Care spent the day with the grade 5's on Wednesday. They talked about bullying vs conflict vs a mean moment. They learned a lot about one another and the importance of standing together against bullying. They will learn information about bullying, cyber bullying and how their words and actions affect others. They discussed anti-bullying strategies and techniques, learned and worked together to come up with ideas about how to create a positive atmosphere in our school and in their classrooms. Kim challenged the students to make some "thumb switches" in their lives to promote being in the positive or remain neutral rather than falling in to the negative to build a positive school atmosphere to discover their greatness and the greatness in others.
