WES Gr 4-6 Track and Field Day 2022

WES Gr 4-6 Track and Field Day 2022

Return to Regular Track Meet for GRADES 4-6
The Grades 4-6 track meet took place as we used to before Covid and it was
fantastic! On Monday, June 27 th with cloudy but nice conditions with little to no
wind our athletes competed in their events. Students participated in a
competitive meet in six events (plus the Open Mile if anyone wanted to tackle the
challenge) which made for a full day. The six events included three running (80 m
dash, 200 m race, 50 m Hurdles) two jumping (long jump and high jump) and one
throwing event (distance throw). The Open Mile followed all the events and took
place at 2:00 pm.
Major thank you goes out to the following:
1) WHS plus one BSS student assisting with our events for the day. We had
22 students sign up and assist us in the six events plus the Open Mile and
we are so thankful for those students who give back and model citizenship
for their WES Star students.

See you in the gym and please have a safe and fun summer outside playing
