WES Gr 5 Operetta 2025 - Off Their Rockers

The Grade 5 students have been hard at work since January learning the songs, dances and putting together this performance. The performance is a new one this year called Off their Rockers!

We have a few acknowledgements and thank you’s.  This event would not be possible without the use of the amazing space thanks to the Church of the Nazarene for allowing us to use this wonderful performance space free of charge. 

We also would like to thank the Town of Wainwright for the use of the risers and the BTPS maintenance department for transportation of the risers this year. 

A huge thank you to Theatre 75 for the use of the costumes. They let our teachers ransack the shelves and borrow anything they needed. 

Thank you to community members for the use of their props such as the canes and walkers.

But the biggest thank you of all needs to go to Mrs. Fletcher and Mrs. Koroluk.  Mrs Koroluk and Mrs Fletcher were part of WES for many years. They have since retired but have continued to join the grade 5’s in putting on this operetta and we are so thankful for their help. They have been here for every rehearsal running our lights and music. Without them we wouldn’t look quite so sparkley or sound as good. We have a little something to show our appreciation of your efforts. 

And now, to the main event, This year the Grade 5’s will present a play about a senior center that just isn’t all that lively until the Center Director takes charge and brings a little song and dance into their lives. Here is Off their Rockers!
